Here is a really cool, dynamic real life example of why I think forced perspective is overused dogshit and mostly employed as a crutch for poor drawing skills. As an artist it’s important to always think about how far the “camera” is from your subject, the further away, the less difference in size between objects that are behind or in front of the subject. Sometimes slow, gaping perspective lines can be more effective than sharp diagonal ones for what you’re trying to achieve. Sometimes pulling back has more impact than getting way in close. Sometimes less is more.
Or not. What the fuck do I know.
There are so many collabs going on and I seem to be missing ALL OF THEM. So after gushing about Breath of Fire with some buddies, we decided to start another one!
We’ve added a bunch of the main characters to our character list, but not all of them cause there’s so many. If there’s a specific character you’d like who isn’t on the list, just add them to your choice on the form!
Deadline will be February 1st! Let’s celebrate this fantastic series of games!
As people start requesting characters, I’ll start updating the list, so keep checking to see if you’ve got the character you wanted.
