A concept sketch for a comic that may happen in the near future.
Hey, while you’re here, I’m currently taking commissions!
/// COMMISSIONS! ///
Hey guys! As some of your out there might know, I’m getting married this September to the amazing Jordyn Bochon, and the day is fast approaching. To help with some of the costs that go with it, I decided to put out a call for commissions! Illustrations, sketches, logos, tattoos, you name it; You could request a portrait, an illustration of a favorite character or scene, a tattoo design, anything you can think of. Your money would go directly towards our wedding, and you would walk away with a one-of-a-kind piece of art (either the original drawing or a high-quality color print) to put on your wall or to give as a unique gift.
// HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? //
However much you want to spend! All prices are flexible, and based on what you’re looking for and how detailed (ie, extra characters or backgrounds) you want it to be, but here are some guidelines:
PENCIL SKETCH - $10-25
A fairly simple pencil sketch on high-quality 8.5” x 11” bristol paper, starting at $10 for a single character. I can add extras like additional characters and backgrounds for roughly $5 per. You would receive a high-quality scan of the sketch, and I can ship the original to you for an additional $5 to cover shipping.
INKED DRAWING - $25-50
A detailed, finished ink drawing on high-quality 8.5” x 11” bristol paper, starting at $25 for a single character Additional pricing depends on the specific request. You would receive a high-quality scan of the drawing, and I can ship the original to you for an additional $5 to cover shipping.
FULL COLOR DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION - $50+
A finished illustration, inked by hand and digitally colored, starting at $50. Pricing depends on the detail and size of the image, as well as the style of coloring, but we’ll work out a price depending on what you’re looking for. You would receive a high-quality digital print of the image or a high-resolution file that you can print at your leisure (for non-commercial purposes only, of course!), or I can ship the original drawing and a high-quality color print to you for an additional $5 to cover shipping.
Again, all prices are flexible. If you have an idea for something that isn’t on this list, get in touch and we’ll work something out.
// WHEN WOULD I GET THE ART? //
Depending on the details of your request and the number of commissions I’m working on, your piece should be finished in 1-3 weeks. Shipping time is completely up to Canada Post, which is usually an extra 5-10 business days, depending on where you are.
// WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT? //
I can accept PayPal at robotarm(at)gmail(dot)com.
// HOW SHOULD I CONTACT YOU? //
By email, at the same address as above!
I hope you’ll consider purchasing some artwork! If not, consider sharing this post, as every little bit helps. I’m looking forward to making something great for you!
An old D&D character, the sorcerer Dumah. It feels good to be on Tumblr again!
A birthday card for a good friend. Happy Birthday, Dorian!
Hey dudes! This is my Final Fantasy piece for the NEStalgia show that’s happening at the Dart Gallery in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, opening tonight and going through next week. If you’re in the area, you should come down and buy a print of one of the amazing illustrations made especially for this show, including Jordyn's amazing Link to the Past piece!
Man, how fun is it to make up new interpretations of the Final Fantasy dudes!? Everyone should give it a shot, it’s lots of fun. Someday when I have time, I’d like to draw these guys in the their ‘advanced’ classes!
